We are looking for DSPs to join our Philadelphia team!

You will directly work with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes.

You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but building genuine relationships with those you care for.

You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role.

Prior Home Care experience is a plus.

You must have the ability to work independently, or as part of a team, and be willing to work flexible hours. These flexible hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Assisting with medication administration, as directed by a healthcare professional.
• Supporting individuals with activities of daily living, such as transportation, grocery shopping, and meal planning.
• Encouraging and promoting independence and self-care skills among the individuals they support.
• Assisting individuals in accessing community resources and activities, such as recreational programs and social events.
• Providing emotional support and helping individuals manage challenging behaviors.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services provided and progress towards goals.
• Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and therapists, to ensure individuals receive coordinated care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year prior professional experience
• Driver’s license required
• Must be 18 years or older

Entry-level position. Training is provided.
