Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Tester with at least 6+ years of experience in testing, including expertise in automation, SQL, API testing, and Unix. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of end-to-end testing processes and a proven track record of working on complex systems, ensuring functionality, performance, and security meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and automation testing on various software applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Conduct API testing to validate system integration and backend processes.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Utilize Unix commands and environments for test execution and validation on systems running on Unix-based platforms.
• Collaborate with development, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through the defect lifecycle.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk analysis to ensure comprehensive test strategies.
• Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and automation scripts to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.
• Proficiency in SQL for writing and executing complex queries.

• Hands-on experience with API testing .

• Strong knowledge of Unix commands and testing in Unix environments.
• Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
