Probate Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Position: Probate Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in Trust and Estates/Probate Law

Responsibilities:

* Assist attorneys in preparing and filing probate documents, including petitions, inventories, accountings, and other necessary forms.
* Conduct legal research on probate laws, court rules, and case precedents.
* Gather and organize client information, including assets, debts, and beneficiaries.
* Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys regarding case updates and requirements.
* Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and court appearances for attorneys and clients.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records.
* Provide administrative support to attorneys, such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
* Assist with the preparation of estate plans, wills, trusts, and other related legal documents.
