Job Overview

The College of Cooperative Education and Professional Studies is seeking a Program Data Analyst to join the Communications and Marketing Team within CCPS.

This position is a full-time, 12-month role and reports to the Director of Communications. CCPS participates in the University's alternative work program; the Program Data Analyst’s schedule is negotiable.

Essential Functions

  • Gather, review, synthesize and analyze key institutional data relevant to CCPS programs from various data sources, utilizing data analytics tools.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for growth or improvement through analysis of complex datasets.
  • Evaluate the efficiency and accuracy of internal systems and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.
  • Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization in partnership with Institutional Research and other campus partners.
  • Collaborate with CCPS leaders to create visualized data summaries to be shared with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions.
  • Provide data-related support for grant funded projects as needed.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
  • Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

  • Two (2) years of related experience.

Additional Qualifications Considered

  • Three (3) years of related experience.
  • Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization.
  • Strong SQL or Excel skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools.
  • Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
