Technique, Inc. is a Michigan-based stamping, tubing and welding facility offering the shortest lead-times and highest quality parts in the industry. We offer high-speed prototypes, ultra-low volume stampings, tubing and assemblies for production and emergency-based manufacturing for industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical and food processing.

Technique, Inc. is currently looking for a prototype stamping technician who will develop a progression in skillset for the development of parts from start to finish, using deep draw stamping fundamentals, while setting up dies in presses, operating the presses and doing process inspections.
Available Shifts: Multiple shifts available:
Monday-Friday – 7:00am-3:30pm
Monday-Thursday – 3:30pm-2:00am ($1.00 per hour shift premium)
Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 5:00am-5:30pm ($2.00 per hour shift premium)
Saturday, Sunday, Monday – 5:00am-5:30pm ($2.00 per hour shift premium)
Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 5:00pm-5:30am ($15.00 per hour shift premium)
Job Responsibilities: - Use multistep draws, comprehend preforms, size them appropriately and adjust drawing processes to alleviate cracks and thinning.
- Understanding friction and how it affects drawing parts, pressure, use of cushion pins
- Understanding of gap control.
- Ability to set up swipes, tweak parts, draw nests, guide plates and binder plates in AutoCAD.
- Understand and complete GD&T layouts, write programs and save runsheets in controls.
