*in collaboration with AbbVie About the Role: Responsible for creating, operating, and managing the digital strategic and tactical plans for the marketing organization, inclusive of all brands. This position will lead the planning and execution of all product digital marketing initiatives; and will have the opportunity to work with brand leads and the head of marketing to shape the strategy and success of the commercial team. Which may include Develop and implement internet marketing strategies to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness and improve customer satisfaction. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social networking, and viral marketing to create “buzz,” drive traffic and generate sales. Gathers and translates ideas into profitable, promotional marketing campaigns. Administers and executes online promotions. Conducts analysis for program effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all programs. Works with corporate marketing team to maximize existing marketing initiatives and develop new ones. _ Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to): - Conceive, evaluate and create a best-in-class digital platform for the brand teams
- Based on goals of the brand, create and optimize efficient and powerful patient and physician journeys, leveraging CRM and digital inputs
- Manage the function and output of the patient and HCP database. Work with brands to assess success of initiatives and make recommendations for improvement, including vendor/partner decisions
- Examine effectiveness of current digital assets, including patient web sites, SEM and SEO, social media, and content marketing. Create a vision for best-in-class performance and make recommendations to the brands
- Leverage deep skills in segmentation, communication and analytics to obtain positive influence with our target customers in the US, as well as maximizing audiences through organic growth strategies, increasing effectiveness of paid programs, and increasing patient and physician engagement and conversion rates
- Partner with brand teams and contribute to the strategic development and execution of the brand initiatives
- Participate in annual brand planning activities, including forecasts and budgeting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements: - BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business or related field and 8+ years of relevant digital marketing experience, including experience analytics oversite; including search, CRM, social media and Google analytics. Experience with marketing automation and client database management experience. Proven results with planning, execution and optimization of SEO, social and online marketing programs and initiatives. digital marketing management and hands on experience, preferably with a pharmaceutical or biotech organization; other digital experience will also be considered OR
- Master's or MBA Preferred and 6+ years of similar experience noted above
- Anticipates business and industry issues; recommends relevant process / technical / service improvements
- Demonstrates broad expertise or unique knowledge
- Considered an expert within the company and may have external presence in area of expertise
- Applies in-depth expertise in discipline and broad knowledge of other closely related areas to improve efficiency of team

- Strong knowledge of marketing automation and CRM integration - preferably Salesforce.com or similar
- Understanding of patient perspectives (mandatory) as well as unique dynamics of digital marketing in the FDA regulated pharmaceutical or biotech industry (preferred)
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and vendors
- Demonstrated proficiency in the PowerPoint, Word and Excel; and Google analytics

Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
