NPI Supply chain management will be your focus as a Sr Materials / Planning Specialist . You may also be responsible for tracking inventory trends, discovering ways to save money, and maintaining consistency in material quality. You may be required to handle inventory for production or inventory of products to be shipped to customers. Material Specialist use software systems to design material and supply movement plans for companies. Predict and track customer product demand and develop productivity improvement proposals.
Aspiring Material Specialist must have excellent communication, organization, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, and familiarity with computer and materials management software, such as SAP.
The Material Specialist will work to streamline the New Product Introduction for the DAS business unit. This professional will oversee the acquisition, distribution, allocation, delivery, and resource disposal of materials. She/he will keep stakeholders communicated on material status across the BU.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $87,600 - $167,900 per year . Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
