Wrights Station Vineyard & Winery is a family run boutique winery in the Santa Cruz Mountains, established in 2014. We are a small and mighty team of 10, and are seeking to add a Tasting Room Associate to our growing team. Experience in a tasting room is preferred but not required. Wine knowledge or pursuing a wine degree is highly welcomed, but not required.

This is a part time role (we are open to the public Fri-Sun).

Every weekend we offer tastings, wine by the glass or by the bottle, and have a robust calendar of events. There’s always something happening at the winery. You will be a part of it all.

We are looking for someone that is passionate about hospitality and wine. As a Tasting Room Associate, you hold the most
important job of creating the winery experience for the guests, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed, learns about our wines,
and has an incredible time at the winery.

This position offers consistent weekend work and the opportunity to grow with us into leadership roles.

Job Responsibilities
•  Be kind, courteous, have the ability to serve guests with all different personalities, and engage with them at the level they
wish.
•  Pour, deliver wine, and educate our guests about our wines. In 2020, we transitioned to a full service winery by offering
table service, along with bar service.
•  Learn about the wines to educate guests about Wrights Station Winery wines and history
•  Laughter. There’s lots of laughter amongst this team!
•  Use your skills to meet wine sales and membership goals.
•  Run an iPad-based POS System to charge customers, and follow the TOCK reservation system
•  Back of House duties: buffing glasses, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, some food prep, etc.
•  Keep the tasting room clean and in order, including stocking of wine (some lifting of cases of wine (45lb each)
•  Move tables, umbrellas, and furniture when needed to set the tasting room layout for events.

Tasting Room Associate Job Responsibilities
•  Must be at least 21 years of age
•  Work 2 - 4 weekends per month (1-2 days per weekend), including most Holidays.
•  1+ years of customer service experience required (retail/hospitality/catering preferred)
•  Passion for hospitality and wine
•  Enthusiastic positive attitude and reliable

Rate of Pay
-$20 per hour plus tips. Experience taken into consideration.
